#KERNEL INPAGE ERROR WINDOWS 10 SOFTWARE#
The only changes i've made were software changes mainly just updating java and removing the pesky win10 notification and its files before leaving for a one week trip. I never had any malware problems as of late(all my antivirus results turned out clean, however there are times where my avira antivirus has given me its own errors trying to update) however hardware problems are becoming more apparent but didnt cause much problems until now. should i let the process continue or do a restart? Do i still have a chance to save my files? I want to restart my computer but i fear i may futher cause more damage. Did i made a mistake of loading up safe mode after prompting cmd(in normal mode) again to chkdsk then restart? The light on my computer does blink occasionally though so something is definitely running. I use a window 7 home premium OS on a dell inspiron N5110 laptop that's been operating without any hardware changes nor OS changes(like reinstalling OS or factory reset) for 6 years now.Ĭurrently right now i cant run any diagnostics as my computer seems to be stuck in safe mode loading screen still loading windows files for a while now (it's up to where CLASSPNP.SYS is and it's been staying there since). I couldnt find any dump files event the memory.dmp and minidumps in any of the specified folders(i followed the procedures properly but nothing showed up), even downloaded window's debugging tool to look for them. I've tried chkdsk but everytime it loads up it cancels itself automatically. Note that: Before making this change, make a backup of the registry.I keep getting bsod with the same "kernel data inpage error" problem since sunday. Then, head to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Session Manager\ Memory Management, double-click on the Largesystemcache value and enter 1 as value to increase the size of the hard disk cache.Head to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Session Manager \ Memory *Management and double-click the DisablePagingExecutive value and enter value 1.Edit the registry: Start, then Run and type "regedit".The presence of a virus boot sector (boot viruses) may also spawn this type of problem it is advisable to analyze the computer with an updated antivirus. It may also be a problem of memory (two RAM which are incompatible or different brands). One solution is to find an independent power supply for the device (eg USB HUB) or use a more powerful power supply. The dump of physical memory may be due to an under-powered device on the motherboard rendering the system unstable (blue screen)." 0xC0000185" indicates a problem of termination or SCSI connections, or a conflict between two devices. " 0xC000009C and 0xC000016A" indicate both, a bad block on disk.

The second parameter indicates the cause of the error. This error usually occurs when the swap file corresponding to the virtual memory is corrupted due to a disk block which is failing, an error in memory or a disk controller problem. Information about this error on the Microsoft site If Windows displays a blue screen with the following error message: kernel_stack_inpage errorĪnd/or a message like this: ***stop: 0x0000007 (0x000000e.0x00000000.0x00901000) 'Kernel Stack Inpage Error' on Windows OS 'Kernel Stack Inpage Error' on Windows OS.
