³ BarNote - Yet another bar noteskin to 'grace' stepmania, as if the previous 3 weren't enough. It looks bright enough but I have my doubts. wiki/Fil… Remember that ability I told you about? Using just that one graphic, I did this. ¹ Arrow1 - I went looking for arrow graphics and I found this one on wikimedia via Google. No major editing here, just a basic port to 3.9. Still, why the name? Because these look alot like the iDance arrows. (Video Preview - ² Apple-Will-Sue - Look familiar? No? I thought so. There are differences compared to the original one but it's still the same idea.
I came up with the name since these don't have a name of their own. These were fakes in a noteskin set for a (probably) later version of SM, in other words, They won't be used, as far as I know. ³ Alpha /awyxqe.jpg - From Stepmania 'Legend' AJ is where this one comes from. To make it easier for the player to tell if they are the result from an 'Insert' mod, they are visually different than the normal but still keeps the note color, unless you are using a vivid-type noteskin.

N=Normal - The default chart, you see these when no 'Insert' mods are activated.Ī=Additional - When 'Insert' mods are on, it adds noteskins, hence the name 'Insert' and 'Additional'. ^_^'Īlso, there's only one vivid noteskin so the rest are color notes. All of the graphics and style shown here are not mine (They belong to whoever made them) but how I 'make' them is original on it's own.I think. I also have a neat ability of making a complete noteskin set using just one arrow graphic.
I have a better skill at editing stuff than creating stuff. Definition: A person who makes original creations by using existing graphics. When it comes to making stuff for Stepmania, I consider myself as an "Unoriginal Original". For more info, check their website, -READ FIRST. The latest version of SM is 4.0, although the most used is 3.9.

At some point in the future, I will return to this project but as of this update post, don't hold your breath.įor those who don't know, Stepmania is a DDR simulator for the PC, Mac and Linux. That's why there hasn't been any activity here from me. Not to worry, I still have them but after a long time since I uploaded this image, I've been loosing interest in StepMania. Well, I have some news about this and it's not good.

UPDATE 1 ()-Īs you can probably tell, I haven't updated this pack nor have I ever uploaded a link to download them all. Sorry for those who really wanted this pack. This is MY noteskin pack (even though most of the noteskins are edits of other people's noteskins and graphics) and I want to keep them.for the moment. Just in case, no, I will not be putting up the raw images of the noteskins for other people to convert them to the current version of SM. This image and the text below will remain for historical purposes. My SM interest now consist of converting my favorite simfiles to use in the ITG2 arcade machines for fun. But, while I still have some interest in StepMania, my feelings about the current version of the game (which I'll keep private) and the complete shutdown of the old forums (which I just found out) killed whatever projects I was slowly working on, which are for the vastly outdated 3.9+R version. This is expected, since I haven't updated this image or the accompanying text for 2 years.įor those curious, I STILL have the noteskins in my HD.
